David Fohrer leads GKH's Litigation practice, handling all aspects of trial and appellate work for companies and individuals, including corporate, commercial, administrative, securities, antitrust and tax litigation.
David joined GKH in 2009, after heading his own Tel Aviv boutique firm which specialized in tax law and white collar offenses.
Prior to heading his own firm David worked as a State Attorney in the Fiscal Department of the Israeli State Attorney's Office, representing the state in civil and criminal tax cases and appearing before the Supreme Court of Israel and District Courts in Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, where David handled cases dealing with all types of taxation including income tax, real estate tax, VAT and Customs. David has garnered broad experience in all levels of trial work, from handling investigations, managing evidence and negotiating plea bargains to drafting indictments and preparing summations and sentencing arguments.
During his service in the State Attorney's Office David also served on various Ministry of Justice and Tax Authority committees.
David is licensed to practice in New York and has worked in the fiscal litigation department of White & Case LLP, a New York firm.
